DormOnline is the internet reservation module of the system. It runs on a secured reservation server with SSL encoding. Guests are lead through the reservation process in four easy steps.
Features:
- all texts and colours of the web module can be customized
- texts and design of e-mail confirmations are customized and can be changed at any time. Graphics can also be included (e.g. local map).
- Multilingual user-friendly platform. (At the moment German and English are implemented. Other languages will follow on demand.)
- No booking fees for guests, no commission for hostels
- by using a direct connection between the online-reservation system and the front-office programme there is no allocation management necessary and guests have the actual current offer at their disposal.
- for each room category you can set a number of beds, which are not sold online.
- guests can change or cancel their reservations themselves up to a hostel set deadline (e.g. 48 hours prior to arrival).
- direct interface to Gomio included without extra costs (no more management of allocations required)
- no web server at the hostel needed
- for agents (e.g. tourism office, travel agency) a specific booking-link can be made available. The system then directly generates invoices (including freely definable commission payments).
